And it’s ok to ramble; we're good at deciphering men.

A love story book can be done in many ways depending on your personalities.  What we are trying to capture here is the part of you that maybe you don’t bring out much around or say to your lady.  By your answers, thoughts or words, we can get a good feel of how to help you express yourself.

Your book will have 21 pages.
Again, remember, this is only a guide to help you think, delete and/or add text that is appropriate for your relationship.
Page 1 – Dedication
Ideas– A little love note, a song or poem, a verse or chorus.
Simple dedication Idea:  “This book is dedicated to the woman I love, (name), because you are my world and I love having you in it.   Or… because you make me want to be a better person.
Or you can get totally silly…. Because you make putting up with these Earthlings a little more tolerable.
(Remember, YOUR personality needs to show though!)

Page 2 – I Love your Kindness
Need some thoughts about how she shows it to you and/or others.  Maybe a little instance of something that really made you see this side of her.  Maybe she is very devoted to a cause or animals.
Example:  It amazes me that you have so much caring for the world and our family.  It could have been the worst day for you and somehow you are still able to take care of us.

Page 3 – I Love how you love me
Express how she shows you how she loves you, what attracted you to her?   When you're down, what does she do ... does she make you special meals or do special things for no reason at all.  Does she put up with some bad habits that you know are just killing her?

Page 4 – I value how hard you work
Weather it’s a job outside the home or staying home with the kids, it’s work.  Think about something to say how you notice how hard she really does her job.  Any special things that go above and beyond the call of duty here?

Page 5 – I love your intelligence

Page 6 – I love your sense of humor

Page 7 – I love your Selflessness
Did she really want that new dress or whatever and she gave it up to buy something for you or your children.  Think of something she may have wanted or wanted to do, but gave it up and never gave a gripe about.

Page 8 - I love your Strength
Maybe a silly idea of  'Super Mom' or 'Super Woman' – Faster than a speeding bullet as she flies through the house picking up after everyone…. 10 minutes before company is arriving of course !
Or, strength seriousness – When something horrible happened or an emergency happened how strong she was to hold it together for the good of someone else and endured.

Page 9 – I love your creativity
Ok, good opportunity here.  You could maybe think of something funny like McGiever.  Last minute fix of a school project.  Or did she decorate a room or home that wowed you?  Did she learn a craft to make your home nicer?  Did she come up with creative Halloween costumes for the kids?

Page 10 – I love your Generosity
Again, did she give up something for someone else (especially you or your kids)?  Does she do things for a charity?

Page 11 – I love your smile
How does it make you feel when you glance over and she gently smiles at you.  Or when you see her smile just make her glow?

Page 12 – I love your Devotion
No matter how rough it got, she’s still with you and devoted into making your relationship work or how devoted and loving she is with your children.  Express that.

Page 13 – I love your determination
I am sure you can think of something that she failed at several times and did over and over to get it right… after all, you’re still together right?  Or did she have a personal challenge or competition she was determined to finish or complete no matter how hard it was?

Page 14 – I love your Ambition
Ok, so maybe her sights were a little high… but tell me about how hard she tried to reach a personal goal?  Could be something even simple like getting that desert dish or meal just right the way you like it, or loosing that 5 pounds to look good for you in those pants.   Or something big like winning a race or something funny like trying to help you fix something even though she didn’t have a clue what she was doing.

Page 15 – I love all of your Quirks
Is there something silly she does or says that makes you chuckle when you think about it?  Is there something she does that just rubs you wrong, but you put up with it because how much you love her?

Page 16 – I love your Laugh
Do you have a funny picture that makes you laugh every time you look at it?  Or a picture of you being silly that makes her laugh?  Good spot for it.

Page 17 - I love your sense of Adventure
Doesn’t matter if dwelling into a child’s room fearing of what she may find under the bed, battle other women at a shopping mall or if she’s a daredevil on a bike, try to think of an occasion to write about.  Make it serious or funny.

Page 18 – I love your friendship
Good spot to let her know she is still your best friend.  Thick or thin, you guys have stood by each other.  Maybe how you can talk to her about anything no matter what and you know she’ll still love you.

Page 19 – I love your Faith
Faith in you, faith in a religion.  Faith is what keeps us going.  Having faith in you and your relationship is why you two are together.  Can you think of something that maybe she should have doubted you but didn’t?  Or something she just had blind faith in you and let you lead?

Page 20 – I love your Optimism
The glass is half full attitude.  Can you think of something that happened that should have seemed like a failure or a black cloud, but she found the silver lining?  Something that happened bad, that she somehow turned around and saw as good?

Page 21 – I love your support
Even if she disagreed with you, she supported your idea or your actions to you and or to others.  Try and think of an occasion she showed this support.   Even if you just express it in general, like the first sentence but in your own words, it will be good.

Anything else you want to tell her?

Remember, this is a guide to help you think.  I’m just playing the muse here.  The whole point is to try and express how much you do love her in words… women love that stuff!  And it wasn’t written by Hallmark J
